The Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern have been by the bar all night, discussing at length on who will be their next manager.
With the list of names going from David Moyes to Malky Mackay, The Express reports that another manager has thrown their name in the pot for the job next season.
Former West Brom and Reading manager Steve Clarke has spoken to The Express about his interest in becoming the new Celtic manager, where he said:
“Celtic is a Massive club,” said Clarke. “Anyone that comes from the West Coast of Scotland, as I do, understands the size of the club.”
However with a long list of potential managers, Clarke does not see himself as the clear favourite.
“It’s a big job. Celtic will have in their own mind who they want to go after and we should let them get on with their business”
Despite only managing two clubs, Clarke has racked up a tonne of experience being the assistant manager at Chelsea, West Ham and Liverpool. Though it looks highly unlikely that Clarke will get the Celtic job, anything can happen in football.
Celtic fans… Should Clarke get the job? Or are their better options out there?
