Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern will be looking forward to the future under Steven Gerrard and will be looking to see who he can bring in this summer.
The former Liverpool midfielder is keen to make his mark at Ibrox this summer and has already been very active in the transfer market, however, he could be about to miss out on one of his key targets this season.
According to a report by GOAL, the Light Blues manager is keen on raiding his former club for loan signings, with Ryan Kent being lined up for a possible switch. However, he could miss out on bringing the 21-year-old north of the border, with Leeds United rumoured to be interested in him.
Kent is not the only player that Gerrard wants to bring from Anfield on loan, with the likes of Ovie Ejaria, Dominic Solanke and Harry Wilson and will be hoping he can use his connections with Liverpool to bring some of them to Ibrox.
The Rangers fans in the Tavern will be hopeful the club can lure Kent to Scotland as they continue their restructuring process and will feel Gerrard should have an edge over the Championship outfit.
However, the locals in the bar will be concerned that the 21-year-old would prefer to play in the second-tier of the English football league once again, having spent a six month period on loan with Bristol City.
