Rangers will be keen to get off to a good start in the Scottish Premiership as they look to knock Celtic off top spot.
The Bluenoses are definitely a team to watch out for having splashed the cash and drafted in a number of fresh faces this summer. Although, it appears as if the Rangers boss could be preparing for even more additions, as according to the Glasgow Evening Times, Steven Gerrard hinted that he could sign a new player by Tuesday.
Interestingly, the Liverpool legend has already made a number of moves on the transfer front so far this summer, but his transfer business doesn’t appear to be finished.
“I’m hoping for a new face in the next three or four days. And we are still looking for those pieces to sort the squad. I’ll be satisfied with a few more in.”
Interestingly, it appears as if the Bluenoses are still looking to strengthen after bringing in 10 players already.
Rangers are certainly making a big statement of intent by bringing in such a range of quality players this summer, and with even more to come, perhaps the Glasgow side will finally secure a trophy this season.
Steven Gerrard continues to work wonders at Ibrox with supporters evidently delighted with the work that he has put in since taking charge.
