Gerrard may just have secured Rangers’ best transfer agreement yet

Rangers fans here in the Tavern are delighted with what Steven Gerrard has accomplished at Ibrox thus far, with aims of enjoying a run in Europe.

Indeed, the Bluenoses will have their sights set firmly on pipping Celtic to the Scottish Premiership title and other domestic trophies in the next campaign. And, it looks as if Steven Gerrard is working hard on the transfer front once again with yet another agreement in place, as according to the Liverpool Echo, Gerrard will have first refusal on any youngsters Liverpool are considering loaning out north of the boarder.

Interestingly, Rangers will have first refusal on any young players that the Reds are considering loaning out to Scotland, which could see the Bluenoses line up with a very young squad next season.

The Rangers boss has already taken Liverpool midfielder Ovie Ejaria on a season-long loan and signed Jon Flanagan on a free transfer.

Gerrard’s close links to Liverpool will ensure that Rangers aren’t beaten to loan signings they want by any other domestic rivals.

Landlord’s Verdict:

Steven Gerrard may have just secured his best transfer agreement since taking over as Rangers boss, as the Bluenoses will have first refusal on any youngsters. Indeed, Liverpool have produced some impressive prospects over the years and continue to develop young talent, so Rangers could line up with some of England’s most promising players in the near future.

Therefore, the Bluenoses may finally be able to challenge Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership table and could be a force to be reckoned with in Europe.
