Interestingly, Rangers will have first refusal on any young players that the Reds are considering loaning out to Scotland, which could see the Bluenoses line up with a very young squad next season.
The Rangers boss has already taken Liverpool midfielder Ovie Ejaria on a season-long loan and signed Jon Flanagan on a free transfer.
Gerrard’s close links to Liverpool will ensure that Rangers aren’t beaten to loan signings they want by any other domestic rivals.
Steven Gerrard may have just secured his best transfer agreement since taking over as Rangers boss, as the Bluenoses will have first refusal on any youngsters. Indeed, Liverpool have produced some impressive prospects over the years and continue to develop young talent, so Rangers could line up with some of England’s most promising players in the near future.
Therefore, the Bluenoses may finally be able to challenge Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership table and could be a force to be reckoned with in Europe.
