Rangers fans here in the Tavern are extremely excited about next season, as they believe that Steven Gerrard will be able to secure silverware with ease.
The Bluenoses will expect nothing less than silverware and success next season after a rather sloppy campaign, as bitter rivals Celtic continue to dominate Scottish football. But, with Steven Gerrard at the helm, perhaps the Glasgow side will be able to challenge at the top next season if they bring in a number of quality players this summer.
Indeed, the Liverpool legend will definitely be looking to dip into the transfer market for some quality this summer, but he’ll be relying on the club’s chairman Dave King to provide him with a sufficient amount of funds.
Although, with strong links at his former club Liverpool, perhaps the 37-year-old will look to lure one of their talented youngsters away from Merseyside.
With that in mind, Gerrard must beg King to bring this star to Rangers…
Harry Wilson, who is valued at £900k (by Transfermarkt), played his football at English Championship side Hull City during the second half of the season, in what was a very successful spell for the Liverpool youngster.
The 21-year-old managed to score seven goals and provided four assists for his teammates, as the Championship looked too easy for him at times.
Therefore, if Wilson made the move to the Scottish Premiership then he’d easily be one of Rangers’ star players, with Daniel Candeias possibly losing his place in the side.Like what the TT have on offer? Sign up for more notifications!
