Rangers fans here in the Tavern will be desperate for their side to challenge Celtic next season, as the Bluenoses struggled to ensure consistency throughout.
Indeed, Steven Gerrard will be looking to ensure consistency in the next campaign after witnessing this season’s woes, as many of our local residents are extremely excited. And, it appears as if Steven Gerrard is looking to splash the cash, as according to the Daily Record, Gerrard is preparing a third bid for Brighton defender Connor Goldson.
It’s understood that Connor Goldson is still on Rangers’ radar as Steven Gerrard is preparing a third bid for the defender.
The Ranger boss has made the 25-year-old one of his top targets and Gers’ second offer of around £2 million was rejected on Friday.
However, it’s believed that Gerrard has now sanctioned another improved bid, which will include add-ons and incentives in an attempt to land the defender.
Rangers supporters will be delighted that Gerrard is looking to splash the cash this summer, as he is preparing a third bid for Connor Goldson. And, with Bruno Alves ageing and struggling to ensure consistency at the back, Goldson will be a huge upgrade on the veteran if they manage to land him as he has already proved his worth in English football.
