Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern will be looking for the club to make a number of additions this summer, whilst they could also lose a fair few stars to help with the finances.
Steven Gerrard will have been tasked with the process of rebuilding the Ibrox squad to ensure they compete with Brendan Rodgers and Old Firm rivals Celtic for domestic honours and he has already been making moves in the transfer window.
The former Liverpool man has already brought in Scott Arfield from Burnley on a free transfer and is eyeing up targets to shore up his defensive line, however, he could be prepared to offload a number of stars to help with the financial aspects of bringing new additions in.
The Scottish Sun are claiming Gerrard could be ready to consider offers for James Tavernier, Josh Windass, Alfredo Morelos and Wes Foderingham this summer, with all four expected to fetch a fair few from interested parties.
The report suggests that Crystal Palace are considering a move for Tavernier and could be available for a fee of around £4million should the Eagles want to make an offer.
The Rangers fans in the Tavern will be slightly concerned that Gerrard could try to offload some of the club’s key men in the summer to help bring in a number of additions, with a number of them becoming fan favourites during their time at Ibrox.
The new manager will need to work hard to ensure he brings in a number of targets and will look to get his transfer business done as quickly as possible as he looks to assemble a squad capable of taking on his former Liverpool boss.
