Rangers still remain unbeaten in Europe this season but things haven’t necessarily gone to plan in the Scottish Premiership.
The Bluenoses will be desperate to challenge bitter rivals Celtic and Hearts for the title in the current campaign after an inspired run recently, but one slip-up could cost them dearly. Interestingly, the Glasgow club secured a big player agreement recently, as according to Rangers’ official website, Glenn Middleton has signed a new deal.
Rangers have announced that Scottish youth international Glenn Middleton has signed a new contract at the club.
Middleton, who joined the club in January 2018 from Norwich, has signed a contract that will keep him at the Club until summer 2023.
The winger has now made twelve first team appearances and scored three goals.
Indeed, the youngster has appeared at all youth age groups for the Scottish national team and has now made six appearances for the under-21 side, featuring recently against England and Ukraine.
Glenn Middleton has plenty of potential and is in the perfect position to kick on and fill his boots, with Steven Gerrard already offering him opportunities in the side.
The winger has already shown his quality at the Glasgow club this season, so supporters will be delighted that they’ve managed to tie him down to a long-term deal.
