Celtic fans here in the Tavern will be desperate to secure another treble next season, as supporters have thoroughly enjoyed all the success in recent years.
Brendan Rodgers has been a key figure at Celtic since he joined the club back in 2016, as the Hoops have managed to secure a number of titles and cups, with plenty more expected in years to come.
But, with European football being a worry for the Glasgow side after failing to make it out of the group stage in the Champions League, many of our local residents want to see a number of big-name players brought in.
Indeed, the only negative to take away from this season was their inability to deliver in Europe, as they were sent crashing out of the Europa League by Russian giants Zenit Saint Petersburg.
So, Rodgers will need to wave goodbye to a couple of the club’s underperforming players, as they failed to make an impact this season.
With that in mind, if Peter Lawwell has any courage, he’ll make sure this Celtic man is sold…
Cristian Gamboa joined Celtic from English Premier League side West Bromwich Albion back in the summer of 2016.
Much was expected of the South American when he made the move, however, the 28-year-old right-back has struggled to play regularly as he continues to stagnate behind the scenes.
It’s clear to see that Brendan Rodgers doesn’t rate the defender too highly, so offloading him this summer would make sense for the Hoops, but they may to wait until after the World Cup as he is included in the Costa Rica squad.
