Rangers fans here in the Tavern will be pleased with how their side performed last weekend, as they managed to secure a place in Europe for next season.
The Bluenoses will be desperate to improve over the course of the summer transfer window, as Steven Gerrard will look to bring in a number of quality additions to help prepare for the challenges of next season. Although, the Liverpool legend will also look to get rid of a number of players this summer, as Rangers have been off the pace at times this season.
Interestingly, one player who may be on his way out of the exits this summer is Lee Hodson, who is currently valued at £225 k (by Transfermarkt). The 26-year-old has stagnated behind the scenes at Ibrox this season and it doesn’t look like he’ll play a big part in the club’s future, as he has struggled to make it into the starting lineup with the likes of Declan John and James Tavernier starting in his place.
With that in mind, if Hodson never plays for Rangers again, it’ll be far too soon…
The former Milton Keynes Dons defender has struggled to come to terms with Scottish Premiership football this season, as he continues to find to himself on the substitutes’ bench or even out of the squad.
And, many of our local residents believe that he will be one of the first players to leave the club in the summer, as he has offered very little on the field and played a part in the Bluenoses’ poor defensive display against Hibernian last weekend.
So, the 26-year-old will be lucky to play a part in the club’s future with Steven Gerrard set to take Rangers forward, having failed to have any sort of positive impact on proceedings this season.
