Rangers hosted Dundee on Saturday and it saw Kenny Miller return to Ibrox for the first time since his controversial exit at the end of last season. The 38-year-old striker was sent off for a challenge on Borna Barisic with just over ten minutes left on the clock and plenty of Gers enjoyed seeing him dismissed.
78' RED: Kenny Miller is sent off for a challenge on Borna Barišić. 3-0

Some Gers were of the opinion that Miller’s red card could have been a yellow, but that hasn’t stopped a lot of them enjoying watching their former player complete his walk of shame back down the tunnel for an early bath. When Miller was shown the red card the score was 3-0 and the game was practically over, Glenn Middleton added one more to punish the ten men of Dundee but Miller’s dismissal did little to impact the game.
At the age of 38, it’s very unlikely that Kenny Miller has much left in him in terms of years at the top level. It would have been nice to see him retire at Rangers had he not left under the circumstances that he did last season and now he’ll be keen to try and keep Dundee up before hanging his boots up and taking the next step in his footballing career. He’ll no doubt face Rangers again this season, but the fans have already enjoyed his send-off at Ibrox.

The fans loved it when Miller saw red and will be keen to put the ‘banter years’ with him at the club behind them.Like what the TT have on offer? Sign up for more notifications!
