Rangers have certainly come on leaps and bounds under the guidance of Steven Gerrard as they currently find themselves firmly in the race for the Scottish Premiership title.
The Bluenoses could definitely still seek improvements in the current campaign as they’ve lacked consistency at times, with their Europa League knockout stages qualification all but confirmed.
However, with the January transfer window right around the corner, Dave King and Steven Gerrard will already have a number of players in mind to help boost their push for silverware.
All of the pressure is on King as he could come under fire if he doesn’t get things spot on.
With that in mind, King would be digging himself into a Rangers grave by not signing these TWO players…
Dominic Solanke is a player that Rangers could really use at the pinnacle of the attack, with Alfredo Morelos struggling for support at times.
The Englishman has been on absolute fire in front of goal recently as he netted twice against Italy and Denmark while on international duty with the England U-21s.
So, with the Bluenoses needing some extra firepower in their pursuit of silverware in Steven Gerrard’s first season in charge, perhaps he should look at raiding Liverpool once again.
Steven Davis is very much out of favour at Southampton but impressed on the international stage recently by putting in two accomplished performances with Northern Ireland.
The Bluenoses could do with bringing in another experienced midfielder to make up for the lack of experience in the middle of the park, with the likes of Ovie Ejaria and Lassana Coulibaly both under the age of 23.
Rangers simply have to land the 33-year-old in January as he could transform their midfield into a title-winning one, with his eye for a pass and composure on the ball helping Gerrard’s side in all areas.
