Kyle Lafferty is keen to join former club Rangers

Rangers will have their sights set firmly on pipping bitter rivals Celtic to the Scottish Premiership title and enjoying success in Europe.

Steven Gerrard has already made a name for himself at Ibrox by bringing in a number of quality players and enjoying a strong start to his managerial life. And, the Glasgow side received a boost in their pursuit of a reported transfer target recently, as according to Sun Sport, Kyle Lafferty is keen to join Rangers.

As things stand the Ibrox club are unwilling to up their offer of £200,000, putting the ball in Kyle Lafferty’s court.

And, it’s believed that the striker is keen to rejoin the Bluenoses, having left the club six years ago.

The 30-year-old is in the final year of his contract, but he could now be forced into pushing through a deal himself by handing in a transfer request.

Interestingly, former Ibrox skipper Lee Wallace being used as a makeweight is one of the options available.
