Rangers will travel to Russia in the hope of reaching the group stages of the Europa League, however, they will be without a key man for the trip across Europe.
Steven Gerrard’s side currently hold a one-goal advantage over FC Ufa and the former Liverpool legend has told his players to be aware of the challenges the Russian outfit could pose.
Gerrard has confirmed that the midfielder is doubtful with a thigh injury which looks to have been slightly complicated.
Coulibaly has excelled for Rangers following his arrival from Angers this summer on a loan deal and will be a huge loss to the side, and could remain unavailable for the first Old Firm derby with Celtic at the weekend.
Gerrard will be able to include Ross McCrorie for the trip to Russia after he served a recent domestic suspension and there are no new injury concerns for the Light Blues.
Coulibaly will be a huge loss to Rangers and Gerrard ahead of their clash with Ufa.
The Light Blues will feel that they have a number of suitable options to cover the absence of the 22-year-old, although he has proven key for the side when he has been fit to play.
Gerrard will be looking for his side to produce a quality performance and ensure the club reach the group stages of the Europa League.
