Rangers have certainly improved under the guidance of Steven Gerrard as they remain in the race for the Scottish Premiership title.

The Bluenoses need to focus on turning draws into wins if they are to stand any chance of securing a piece of silverware this season, with Celtic constantly piling on the pressure.

However, with the club likely to spend a large amount of money in transfer windows to come, perhaps Gerrard and Dave King should turn their attention to a number of the club’s youngsters.

Indeed, the Glasgow club have managed to produce a number of quality players over the years, so they shouldn’t hesitate to try and chance their luck once again.

With that in mind, these TWO Rangers youngsters could save Dave King multi-millions…

DAPO MEBUDE

A quick, tricky and effective striker, Mebude has been impressing regularly for the club’s development team and is a Scotland international at Under 17 and Under 19 level already.

The youngster might be able to force his way into the first team ranks this season having witnessed Glenn Middleton’s rise to stardom recently, with youth players thriving at Rangers at this moment in time.

GLENN MIDDLETON

Glenn Middleton has established himself as arguably the hottest prospects in Scottish football this season, with five goals and three assists to his name in all competitions.

The youngster has the ability to become a future star of the game and will play a huge part in the current campaign for the Bluenoses, with Alfredo Morelos finally getting some support at the pinnacle of the attack.

So, Dave King should save himself some money by putting his trust in the 18-year-old rather than splashing out on an attacker in January.
