Rangers haven’t exactly gotten off to the best of starts in the Scottish Premiership this season as they find themselves trailing the pack at the top.
The Bluenoses have certainly hit the ground running in Europe, but domestically is a different story as they just can’t seem to ensure consistency. Although, they did receive a mixed news on the injury front recently, as according to the Scottish Sun, Ovie Ejaria could play against St Johnstone this weekend, while Borna Barisic is a big doubt.
So, it appears as if Borna Barisic is a big doubt for this weekend’s game, while Ovie Ejaria could feature.
Both players have been vital to the Bluenoses’ progress under Steven Gerrard this season, so it comes as a bit of a blow that the Croatian is a huge doubt.
“Ejaria has a good chance of being involved, but Borna might struggle. He’s been sent for a scan on his hamstring and is a big doubt.”
Rangers will need to win their next Scottish Premiership fixture to avoid slipping down the table and losing ground in the race for the title, but it doesn’t help them that Barisic is a huge doubt.
Although, Ejaria has played a key part in the middle of midfield so far this season, so Gerrard will be hoping to get him fit and primed before tomorrow’s clash.
