Rangers were sent crashing out of the Europa League on Thursday after suffering defeat in Austria.
Steven Gerrard’s side certainly improved on their embarrassing fortunes within European football from last season and the Light Blues will have been pleased with the progression they have made under the Liverpool legend.
However, it appears as though one man may have found life a little too difficult at Ibrox for his own liking and may have already played his last game for the club.
He did not travel to Austria for the Europa League game and reportedly left training early on Tuesday as the squad were preparing for the tie.
Gerrard is expected to have talks with the 21-year-old about his future and is thought to be keen to have had discussions with the player about remaining at Ibrox until the end of the season.
Ejaria has made 28 appearances so far for the Light Blues this season, making him somewhat a mainstay in the team under Gerrard.
However, the Liverpool loanee has failed to really get going in Scotland and problems are thought to have been on the horizon recently, with him turning up to training late a fortnight ago thought to be a tell-tail sign.
It remains to be seen if the 21-year-old has played his last game for Rangers and will be sent back to Liverpool, or if Gerrard will be able to convince him to stay and look to turn things around, but if he were to depart, some of the Bluenoses may actually be happy.
