Rangers will be desperate to secure all three points against Motherwell later on today having gathered some momentum in recent weeks.
The Bluenoses have been dominant ever since Steven Gerrard took over at the club as they’ve hit the ground running in the Scottish Premiership and are going well in Europe. And, it appears as if the Gers’ boss is looking to strengthen his squad even further, as according to The Sun (28/6, page 61) (via HITC), Rangers are eyeing a loan deal for Swansea City’s Nathan Dyer.
Steven Gerrard wants to sign Nathan Dyer on loan for Rangers.
Jamie Murphy suffered an ACL injury in action for Rangers earlier this month which has ruled him out of Gerrard’s plans, with Dyer being seen as a suitable replacement.
Indeed, the 30-year-old is under contract at the Liberty Stadium but he is available on loan.
Nathan Dyer hasn’t exactly enjoyed much football in recent times but Gerrard has gotten the very best out of a number of signings so far this season, so there’s no reason as to why he can’t work his magic once again.
Indeed, the Swansea City winger is known for his electrifying pace and incredible dribbling ability, which is why he’s being weighed up as a potential replacement for Jamie Murphy as both players are rather similar.
The Bluenoses aren’t afraid to bring in a number of players and it’s safe to say that it has paid off so far.
