The Peterborough United forward has been in sensational form since he arrived from Luton Town last season and Sky Sports are claiming the Light Blues are interested in bringing him north of the border.

The 23-year-old has scored 33 times across all competitions this season and has revealed in the past that he hold’s aims of playing at a higher level in the future.

Landlord’s Verdict

The Rangers fans in the Tavern will be excited by the prospect of Marriott coming to Ibrox to lead the line as he has proved he knows where to find the back of the net often.

Despite there being interest in the Championship from other sides, the locals in the bar will feel that they can win the race to bring the 23-year-old to them, as they look to compete with Old Firm Rivals Celtic in Scottish football.

Punters will be expecting other additions, as well as plenty of departures, and will be hoping Gerrard can hit the ground running in the transfer market as they look to try and get their first Scottish Premiership title in years.
