Rangers: Fans celebrate as Hearts are demolished as well as broken

Rangers progressed to the final of the Betfred League Cup on Sunday after a one-sided, 3-0 victory over Hearts.
The Edinburgh side were passive throughout and never threatened Allan McGregor’s goal until they were 2-0 behind; a change of manager following the sacking of Craig Levein has not brought about a change of approach, yet.
Rangers dominated possession and chances and despite leaving it late in the first-half, it was only ever going to be a matter of time before they opened the deadlock. Filip Helander with the easiest of goals after excellent work from in-form Alfredo Morelos.
The Colombian was to take over in the second-half with two goals of his own and was denied a hat-trick after being (correctly) ruled out for offside. This time Steven Gerrard resisted the temptation to rest his talisman when he brought Jermain Defoe on; it would take a brave man to deprive Morelos the chance to get a hat-trick twice in the space of a week.
With a December final against Celtic on the horizon, Rangers fans took to twitter to celebrate ending their Hampden hoodoo.
Same in the final please x
