Rangers: Fans flock to back James Tavernier after Twitter post

James Tavernier endured a difficult evening in the Europa League match against Young Boys in midweek with some Rangers fans calling for him to be stripped of the captaincy and dropped via The Daily Record.
Does James Tavernier get too much criticism?
Yes

No

Tavernier was partially to blame (he was slammed by Chris Sutton) for the concession of both goals against Young Boys in a game that Rangers had initially appeared to be in control of. In fact, he unsuccessfully tried to toe-poke the ball back to Allan McGregor for the first then failing to clear a hopeful long header for the second, costing the Ibrox side dearly.
Steven Gerrard has already shown this season with Tavernier’s missed penalties that he trusts his captain and backed him to bounce back against Hamilton on Sunday.
Despite not firing on all cylinders this season, Tavernier still has 8 assists and 3 goals to his name and it has only just turned October.
These Rangers fans took to Twitter to show their support for their captain.
A fine performance today James. Ignore the nonsense, the irrelevant and the noise
