Rangers fans on Twitter believe they’re capable of anything at the moment

Being a Rangers fan this season is much easier than it was last season. Steven Gerrard has come in and revolutionised the squad, bring in a number of new signings and changing the atmosphere at Ibrox. Yesterday, The Gers beat St Mirren 2-0 and a lot of fans are starting to believe that title number 55 could be on its way.

Alfredo Morelos continued his hot streak in front of goal yesterday when he opened the scoring for Stevie G’s side after just 14 minutes. Ten minutes later the lead had been doubled when Connor Goldson added a second. Things were made a little bit tougher for the Gers, though, as Ross McCrorie was sent off just after the half an hour mark, meaning the Bluenoses had to play most of the game with ten men.

This wasn’t an issue for the side, though, and their quality shone through as they held onto the lead and saw out a professional 2-0 win in front of an electric Ibrox crowd. The mood at the club has never been greater and with Gerrard leading the charge, the fans are daring to dream that they can go on and do great things. When club captain, James Tavernier took to Twitter after the game he was flooded with responses from fans who have been raving about the performance.

As you can see, the fans are loving life at the moment and will be keen to see their momentum build when they travel to face Maribor on Thursday.
