Rangers fans were treated to one hell of a game of football last night. After the Gers drew against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park in their initial Scottish Cup 5th round match, Steven Gerrard had a point to prove. The Gers couldn’t have been more up for it as they recorded a massive 5-0 win, with the sublime Alfredo Morelos bagging four times.

The Gers would have been hoping for a massive reaction after back-to-back goalless draws and Gerrard’s side made sure that they didn’t repeat the feat for a third time last night. The incredible display of finishing was aided when Killie’s ‘keeper, Daniel Bachmann was shown a red card for an incident whilst the ball was out of play, yet the Gers still had to put the ball in the net.
The one man who is always reliable when the fans are hoping to do just that is their aggressive young striker Alfredo Morelos. The striker brought up goals number 24, 25, 26 and 27 of the season with his incredible display as he opened the scoring after seven minutes and closed the scoring off with just seven minutes left on the clock. That result now means that Morelos and co will be travelling to Pittodrie to face Aberdeen in a Scottish Cup quarter-final in early March.

Needs to really stop getting suspended we would have won a cup and be 10 points clear at the top.

The Gers can’t get enough of Morelos when he’s in this kind of form and will hope for the Aberdeen clash he can bring the goals and not the discipline issues that have seen him dismissed three times against the Dandies.
