Rangers fans on Twitter expecting big things from Mebude - Rangers

The Scottish National football team is a side revitalised at the moment. Last night they utterly destroyed Albania 4-0 away from home whilst their U19s were busy smashing San Marino 5-0 in World Cup qualifying and it was the young Ger, Dapo Mebude who shone with a goal and an assist on the day.

Mebude looks like a great young talent at Ibrox and the fans are expecting big things from their youngster. His goalscoring record for both club and country is superb given his age and given his ability he could well be thrown into the Ibrox first-team in the coming months to rival the likes of Alfredo Morelos and Kyle Lafferty as Steven Gerrard’s frontman.

A lot of fans rate the youngster very highly, even though he’s yet to make his debut for the Rangers senior side. At the age of 17, the half Nigerian Scottish international has a long way to go until he’s at the peak of his powers and he’ll be hoping that he can really make a name for himself at Ibrox in the future as he continues to rise through the age groups, scoring goals and impressing fans for both club and country.

You can read The Bluenoses’ thoughts on Mebude here:

The Gers are loving Mebude at the moment and will hope he can carry on improving and shining for club and country.
