Rangers fans everywhere will be waking up with sore heads this morning for work after celebrating yesterday’s massive 7-1 win over Motherwell. However, it isn’t all good news for The Gers as they found out last night that Ryan Jack had received a late call-up to the Scotland squad for upcoming matches against Albania and Israel in the UEFA Nations League.

The news of Jack’s Scotland call hasn’t gone down well at all with the fans. The Rangers midfielder is one of four players to be called up by Alex McLeish alongside Scott Bain, Scott McTominay and David Bates and whilst Jack himself will be keen to show what he can do on the international scene, the fans at club level will hate seeing him pull on the Scotland shirt as they fear that they may lose him to injury.
For a football fan who puts club over country, seeing your side lose out on players to injury in games that weren’t for your club is the most infuriating thing in the game. For The Gers, that’s no different and they’ve been urging their midfielder to tell the SFA that he has no interest in representing Scotland. If Ryan Jack does play and he does star then it will be a different story, but the risk of injury will have the Bluenoses on edge of Jack does feature.

Why would he want to risk injury playing for fans who boo him? Should “focus on his fitness” & put club 1st

Getting picked after boys like Shinnie and even then it’s only due to call offs… I’d tell them to ram it!

How long into the game before he gets booed? Pointless.

The Gers are far from happy to see Jack in the Scotland squad and will hope he opts to pull out to avoid risking injury.
