Rangers were in action again last night at home to Maribor in their Europa League third-round qualifier. The Slovakian’s failed to hold their own at Ibrox though and will be hoping to overturn the 3-1 deficit in the return leg next Thursday. Lassana Coulibaly scored his first Rangers goal to give the Gers a two-goal cushion and the fans are now desperate to see the Malian midfielder sign full-time.

The summer has been a really good one for Rangers fans, who are finally starting to believe that they can really challenge Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premier League. If Steven Gerrard really can show the world that Celtic can be stopped in the Scottish Premier League then it would go a long way in boosting his own profile as he aims to become one of the best managers in Europe.
The signing of Lassana Coulibaly looks to be an amazing coup already and the young midfielder is yet to rack up double figures for appearances for the club. Currently just a signing on-loan from Angers in the French Ligue 1, the Bluenoses will be desperate of making the Malian a permanent addition to Ibrox. If they can win some silverware this season, with Coulibaly the gem in the crown, then it will be just a matter of when the club signs the 22-year-old and now if they sign him.
