Rangers fans on Twitter keen to give Dallas a run with the senior squad

Rangers are proving to be a success at every level under Steven Gerrard, whilst the senior side may not have been able to get a result against Livingston, the club’s under-19s made up for that with a thumping 5-0 win away at Hamburg, courtesy of a sublime Andy Dallas treble.

Dallas’ treble has got fans talking of a senior squad call-up for the young forward. Hamburg are a side that take their youth set-up very seriously and for the young Gers to turn up, romp the Germans 5-0 and leave is a major achievement. Plus, with just Alfredo Morelos and Kyle Lafferty as recognised strikes, the fans would be keen to add some unpredictability to their forward line and the young striker would be perfect.

Despite the fact that Gerrard has ensured The Bluenoses are playing in Europe this season, the fans are keen to prioritise the Scottish Premier League as they aim to see Stevie G knock the Hoops off their perch. That could mean some rotation will be afoot in the Europa League, leading to chances for fringe players and youngsters and it would be a superb experience for young Andy Dallas to be thrown in against Rapid Wein on Thursday at Ibrox.

The fans loved seeing Andy Dallas’ hat trick and will be keen to see more trebles in the senior team from the boy in the coming years.
