Rangers fans on Twitter say their farewells to departing Forrester

Yesterday, Rangers announced on their website that Harry Forrester’s contract has been terminated and at the age of 27 and after two years as a Ger, he will be looking for a new club. The Englishman signed from Doncaster when Mark Warburton was in charge and he went on to score eight goals in 44 games for the Bluenoses.

There’s a mixed fan reaction on this one. For most of the supporters Forrester was a talented young lad who had the potential to go far and become a real fan favourite at Ibrox, however, his attitude and behaviour off the pitch look to have cost him and Steven Gerrard’s squad is now a man lighter as he’s left. The 27-year-old helped the club to the 2015/16 Scottish Championship win although he spent last season out 0n-loan at Wimbledon.

The winger from Milton Keynes will now ply his trade for Tractor Sazi FC in the Persian Gulf Pro League. The former Rangers winger has become the only non-Iranian in the squad as he’s signed for the club today. Things could have been so different for Forrester but ultimately, he’s more talented than some of the Rangers squad and he’s been let go because of a poor work ethic and bad attitude.

Just from this you can see that the fans want to see Forrester do well, but don’t want him at the club anymore.
