Jack has been a key component in Rangers’ form in both the Scottish Premiership and the Europa League with a series of top performances, and as a result, has earned himself a new contract at the Glasgow club which secures his future until 2023.
After a man-of-the-match display against Ross County in which he scored two beautifully taken goals, he again excelled in the Betfred League Cup semi-final win over Hearts where he was rated at 7/10 by The Daily Record.
Jack’s relationship with Scotland hasn’t always been a rosy one and was booed by the Tartan Army at Pittodrie (his former stomping ground) in a previous friendly fixture because of his club allegiances.
Rangers fans took to Twitter at the announcement of Jack’s recall as some suggested that he pull out through ‘injury’ following his previous treatment.
Get the good doctor to write him out a sick note immediately.
