Rangers: Fans react as the Daily Record poses Jermain Defoe exit question

The Daily Record posed a question on Twitter as part of its “Monday Jury” series, and it’s fair today it raised a few eyebrows.
Will Jermain Defoe be happy to warm Rangers’ bench or consider his options in January?

The question was posed to Record journalists and in the article they each give their answer on a range of subjects, this one in particular considered whether or not Jermain Defoe would be happy to remain at Rangers if he continues to get used as an impact sub or squad player.
Defoe is currently the top goal scorer in the Scottish Premiership despite having played half the minutes of his nearest rivals and has repeatedly spoken about how much he is enjoying playing at Ibrox, going as far as to say he hopes to extend his stay next season.
Will Alfredo Morelos finish the season a Rangers player?
Yes

No

Rangers manager, Steven Gerrard, has also hinted that he would like the veteran striker to put pen to paper on another deal, and his 13 goals in 19 games (just 762 minutes) demonstrates that there is plenty life in the old dog yet.
Fans of the Light Blues took to Twitter to ridicule the question raised by the Monday Jury given how vocal Defoe has been in expressing a desire to stay.
The same Defoe who just two weeks ago stated he wants to STAY at Rangers… the Record really is getting desperate with its ‘stories’
