Rangers fans took to Twitter to praise sublime Barisic after Hibs tie

When Rangers made the move to sign Borna Barisic over the summer, the Gers were ecstatic. Steven Gerrard had seen what the Croatian full-back was capable of first hand during their Europa League qualifying round against NK Osijek and last night away at Easter Road he showed similar form.

After the game, the 26-year-old spoke to Rangers TV to give his thoughts on the game and he cut a frustrated figure in the post-match interview after his side failed to take all three points away from Edinburgh despite being the better side on the night. However, it is still a point gained and the Gers did much better than their Old Firm rivals after Celtic lost 2-0 to Hibernians on Sunday.
After missing some action with a calf injury, Barisic is back in action and has played a lot of minutes as of late, with the Bluenoses raving over him every time he steps out onto the pitch. The left-back is fast becoming an Ibrox favourite and if he can put in a shift like the one he managed last night every week then he’ll soon be undroppable for Steven Gerrard, which is exactly what the Gers want.

The Gers simply cannot get enough of Barisic and will hope the Croatian can continue to improve in a Rangers shirt this season.
