It is looking increasing unlikely that Manchester City’s Slovakian winger Vladimir Weiss will return to Glasgow next season as Mancini does not rate the SPL.
The little winger has become a cult figure at Ibrox after his year loan spell and it would be fair to say he is loved by the support. Vladimir’s last outing in a Rangers shirt came in the League Cup final against Celtic when he was brought on as a late substitute and set up Nikica Jelavic for the winning goal.
The fans have taken to Vlad although he got injured with several games to go he returned as a supporter and was recorded singing with the Rangers supporters on YouTube. He as also been winding up Celtic supporters on his Twitter page and also mimicked the Samaras penalty miss during the title celebrations. Which is always a good way to win over Rangers fans.
Although he is loved by the support it looks as if he will be playing his football elsewhere next season with his father claiming Spanish and German sides want him on loan next season.
Rangers fans who would love to see Vlad again should not fear as he has promised to play for the club he loves again stating on his Twitter page “I will play for Rangers again although it may not be next season”. Whatever happens I am sure the Rangers fans wish him well in wherever he ends up next term.
