Steven Gerrard and Rangers appear to already be looking at potential summer transfer targets, despite the window having only closed just a week ago.
The Light Blues have been incredibly active over the course of this season when it comes down to recruitment, bringing in a mixture of experienced and exciting players.
And, according to a report in Portugal, it appears a midfielder has already become the subject of interest from the Scottish Premiership outfit.
A Bola are claiming Rangers are interested in signing Maritimo’s Josip Vukovic.
The 26-year-old has been impressing with the Portuguese outfit in his debut season with his ability to read the game and make a number of crucial tackles, whilst also being able to pass the ball extremely well.
Rangers already have a number of holding players at the club, but Gerrard may be prepared to bolster those ranks with Vukovic.
Vukovic has been impressing with Maritimo this season, despite the club struggling in the league this season.
However, as the 26-year-old has only joined the club this summer, it remains to be seen if Rangers would be able to bring him to Ibrox in the next transfer window.
But with fellow Croats Borna Barisic and Nikola Katic at the club, there could be a good chance that he plays his football in Scotland next season.
