Rangers are thought to be keen on adding some extra creativity to their squad in the January transfer window.
Steven Gerrard’s side currently sit top of the Scottish Premiership table, however, it is believed he still wants to add to his team.
Brentford’s Lewis Macleod has been touted as a possible target for the Light Blues, although it would seem as though they will face some stiff competition from Leeds United for him.
The 24-year-old has been impressive for the Bees this season, and with his contract set to expire in the summer, Rangers could look to make a cut-price bid for him in January.
Macleod could be an excellent signing for Rangers as Gerrard looks to add more creativity to his ranks.
The Light Blues recently lost Ovie Ejaria, leaving the desire to bring in further attacking threat that much greater for the club.
It remains to be seen if Macleod would be willing to make a return to the club four years after initially departing, or if he will look to get a move to Leeds and try and go for Premier League football.
