When Rangers and transfer targets are being discussed, Dominic Solanke does not appear to be too far away from the rumours.
And, according to reports, the striker could soon find himself at Ibrox in some capacity.
Football Insider are claiming the Light Blues have are to make a firm move to take the Liverpool man on loan for the remainder of the season when the January transfer window reopens, having already made formal contact.
Steven Gerrard has already raided his former club for a number of talents, although Ovie Ejaria has since decided to return to Anfield.
Solanke is out of favour at the Merseyside outfit at the moment, but Rangers see him as the ideal man to bolster his attacking options with the club having to be heavily reliant on Alfredo Morelos.
Solanke has never been a name too far away from transfer rumours surrounding Rangers and it appears he could be on the move to Scotland in the near future.
The 21-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at Anfield and the lure of Gerrard could tempt him to join him at Ibrox this winter.
With Umar Sadiq having been sent back to AS Roma early, the Light Blues are in need of striking options and Solanke could be the man they need to help them in their pursuit of silverware.
