Rangers have been enjoying life under Steven Gerrard since he took over, however, it appears that he still has unfinished business when it comes to the transfer window.
The new Light Blues chief has been extremely pro-active in the transfer market this summer, making a number of changes to ensure that his side is in a strong enough position to compete for Scottish Premiership honours.
Gerrard has brought in ten new players to Ibrox to help him achieve his aims, whilst he has also offloaded some of the players that had flopped during last season’s poor campaign.
The likes of Eduardo Herrera, Carlos Pena and Bruno Alves have all departed from Scotland since the new manager arrived and it appears that one more man that was initially brought to the club by Pedro Caixinha has been shown the exit door.
The 24-year-old found life difficult within Scottish football during his debut season and made just 18 appearances for Rangers.
The defender, who still had two years left to run on his contract, was thought to be one whose future was uncertain under Gerrard, especially given that the manager was looking at bringing in replacements as a priority.
It seems a shame that Rangers were willing to let the player go for a free, with it believed that they could have at least received a small figure from any potential suitors.
