Rangers fans here in the Tavern will be hoping that their side bring in a number of players this summer, as they were far from perfect this season.
Steven Gerrard will be looking to bolster his squad before the start of next season as he’ll want to ensure consistency, with many of our local residents feeling rather excited about the summer transfer window. And, it looks as if Rangers are already looking at potential additions, as according to the Mirror’s transfer news Live Blog (11:24, 18th May 2018), Rangers are interested in signing Kyle Bartley.
Rangers are interested in signing defender Kyle Bartley this summer, as he continues to weigh up a move away from the Liberty Stadium.
Encouragingly, it’s understood that his current club Swansea City are willing to listen to offers having been told that he wants to consider options elsewhere.
The 26-year-old joined the Bluenoses on loan in January 2011 before returning for the following campaign.
David Bates is set to join German side Hamburg this summer, so Steven Gerrard may be looking to bring Kyle Bartley in as his potential replacement. And, having witnessed the Bluenoses’ defensive issues this season, perhaps signing the Swansea City defender will help iron out any underlying issues within the side.
