Rangers receive triple boost ahead of make or break Scottish Cup clash

Rangers fans here in the Tavern are looking forward to their Scottish Cup semi-final clash, as they’ll be looking to inflict defeat on their bitter rivals Celtic.

Graeme Murty is heading into arguably the biggest game in his managerial career as his future is at stake, with anything less than a victory possibly seeing him depart in the summer months. Although, many of our local residents received some incredible news prior to kick-off at Hampden Park, as according to Sky Sports’ pre-match team news, Josh Windass is in contention for the semi-final, while Jordan Rossiter and Lee Wallace rejoin the squad.

Josh Windass has been Rangers’ standout performer so far this season as most of their success has been through the Englishman, with 17 goals and eight assists to his name in what’s been an incredible campaign. Although, he did suffer a calf injury against Motherwell a fortnight ago, but the 24-year-old is now in contention for today’s game, having trained fully on Friday.

Jordan Rossiter and Lee Wallace will also rejoin the squad ahead of today’s all-important clash against Celtic, after suffering from an ankle and groin injury respectively in what is great news for the Bluenoses.

Landlord’s Verdict:

Rangers will be delighted to possibly have all three players back in the squad for today’s clash against Celtic, as this gives them the best possible chance of making it through to the final. Although, many of our local residents are desperate for Josh Windass to make it into the starting lineup, having caused the Hoops trouble in their last encounter at Ibrox.
