Rangers reportedly line up move for 25-year-old as club look to summer window

Rangers fans here in the Tavern are hoping that their side will bring in a few summer additions, as they’ll look to challenge for the Scottish Premier League title next season.

The Gers have looked less than convincing in recent times as they’ve lost their last two Premiership encounters, with European football still yet to be confirmed for next season. Although, it appears that the Bluenoses have turned their attention to the summer transfer window, as according to reports in the Mail Online, Rangers are eyeing a summer move for Preston North End striker Louis Moult.

The former Motherwell striker has struggled to make an impact at Deepdale since joining in January, having only made three starts to date.

Although, the 25-year-old still has three years to run on his deal in Lancashire, but a lack of first-team football has alerted clubs to the prospect of signing him in the summer transfer window. And, it’s believed that the player would be open to looking at his options, which has certainly delighted many of our local residents here in the Tavern.

Indeed, it appears that Rangers are keeping a close eye on any developments as they could look to make their move, after already being linked with the Englishman last summer during Pedro Caixinha’s reign.

Landlord’s Verdict:

The addition of Louis Moult could see Rangers go up a level next season after witnessing his prolific ways at Motherwell, and it appears that they may not face too many difficulties in recruiting him as he’s believed to be open to a move away. Indeed, with the likes of Eduardo Herrera and Kenny Miller failing to contribute in the current campaign, a partnership that involves Louis Moult and Alfredo Morelos excites many of our locals.
