Rangers secure new agreement as Gerrard looks to receive more funds for further additions

Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern are in for some exciting times and will be hoping the good times continue to role for the Ibrox outfit.

The Scottish Sun are claiming that the club are set to sign a deal with Hummel for the naming rights of their training ground, which is currently known as Murray Park. It is believed that the Danish company, who is also the shirt manufacturer for the club, will rename the training ground as part of the deal.

Hummel signed a new three-year deal with the Light Blues in April worth around £10million and the locals in the Tavern will hope that the funds will be made available for Steven Gerrard to continue his spending spree.

Nikola Katic was confirmed as their latest signing following his £2m move from Croatian side Slaven Belupo, becoming the fifth signing to arrive at Ibrox as the former Liverpool star looks to continue rebuilding his squad.

Landlord’s Verdict

The sponsorship deal with Hummel appears to be working for Rangers and their decision to rename the training ground after the Danish company looks to have only strengthened the partnership.

The locals in the bar will be pleased that the deal remains in place and will help it can bring in the funds to help Gerrard to continue to make the signings he wants to bring in.
