Rangers set to miss out on Glen Kamara - Latest News

Steven Gerrard is thought to be keen on bringing additions to Rangers, however, it appears one man will not be heading to Ibrox.

According to a report by TeamTALK, Dundee’s Glen Kamara is understood to have agreed to join Cardiff City in the summer.

The Finland international has been impressing for the Scottish Premiership side this season, which has seen a number of clubs take an interest in him.

The 23-year-old would have been an ideal target for the Light Blues as Gerrard looks to bolster the options he has available within his squad.

Rangers saw Ovie Ejaria depart earlier this month and returning to Liverpool, whilst the Ibrox outfit have also seen a number of players hit with injury, leaving the centre of midfield short at times.

The Verdict:

Kamara is an exciting and impressive talent and it will have come as a huge blow to Rangers with the news that he could be about to join Cardiff.

As mentioned, the Light Blues will likely want to address the midfield in the winter transfer window as they have been short of options at times because of injuries.

Rangers will want to ensure they do not miss out on any further potential targets in January as they continue to keep their Scottish Premiership title challenge alive.
