Rangers are going through a period of uncertainty at the moment and fans in the Transfer Tavern will be concerned that there could be more to follow in the next couple of months.
The Ibrox outfit are still dealing with the fallout from their Scottish Cup semi-final defeat to Old Firm rivals Celtic and could be about to lose one of their key men in the summer, according to reports in the Scottish Sun.
The newspaper are claiming that Wes Foderingham could be set to depart from Glasgow as his place in the side looks up for grabs following the imminent arrival of Allan McGregor. The Gers are expected to seal a deal for the Hull City goalkeeper in the next couple of days and has left the current number one’s future in doubt.
Foderingham has made over 100 appearances for the Ibrox club since he signed for them in 2015, however, he is suffering from a long-standing shoulder injury that could rule him out for the season. Should he have already played his last game for the club, he will have a number of potential suitors south of the border ready to sign him.
The Rangers fans in the Tavern will be disappointed to learn that Foderingham could be about to call time on his stay at Ibrox, although a number of them will not blame him should former ‘keeper McGregor come back into the fray.
