Rangers are in Spain as Steven Gerrard’s side prepare for their Europa League group match against Villarreal.
The Light Blues have already progressed from a number of qualifies to reach the current stage and will be keen to do as well as they can in the competition.
Both Jon Flanagan and Alfredo Morelos are suspended for the game against the La Liga outfit after they were both sent off in their qualifying match against FC Ufa.
Suspensions are not the only concern that Gerrard has to deal with, as he has a number of players out of contention due to injury.
Ryan Jack and Gareth McAuley are both out with calf issues, whilst Ovie Ejaria is absent with a hip problem.
Jamie Murphy, Graham Dorrans and Jordan Rossiter remain long-term absentees, although Borna Barisic is now eligible to feature for Rangers after he appeared in the tournament with NK Osijek in the earlier stages.
Rangers will be looking to try and get a positive result against Villarreal on Thursday night to give themselves a chance to qualify for the next round.
The Light Blues are coming off the back of a 4-0 victory against Dundee and Gerrard will be looking for his squad to use the momentum from that game to their advantage.
However, Morelos’ absence will be a huge blow to their chances as the Colombian striker has been hugely influential this season already.
