Rangers will look to keep their Scottish Premiership title aspirations going when they meet Aberdeen at Pittodrie on Wednesday evening.
The Light Blues are six points behind Old Firm rivals Celtic in the table and will travel to the division’s third-placed side.
Aberdeen will give Steven Gerrard’s side a real test on Wednesday as they are undefeated in their last six games.
However, Rangers may have been handed some potentially encouraging news as they head to Pittodrie.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, via the club’s official Twitter account, Gerrard has revealed Connor Goldson could be available for the trip.
SG: We have to check on Connor Goldson, he will be touch and go for tomorrow.

The manager stated that his defender would be ‘touch and go’ for the game and would need to be assessed.
Glen Kamara and Matt Polster are expected to continue to work on their fitness but the Light Blues do not have any other concerns heading into the encounter.
With Goldson not being ruled out for the match against Aberdeen, the news will come as a potentially encouraging update for Rangers and Gerrard.
The defender has missed the whole of 2019 with an injury and the latest update by the manager would seem to suggest that he is back on the verge of returning to the side.
The 26-year-old had been a mainstay in the Light Blues’ first-team in the first part of the season and Gerrard will be keen to have him available in the near future.
