Rangers will return to action on Boxing Day as they host Hibernian at Ibrox in their final home game before the winter break.
Steven Gerrard’s side, who face Old Firm rivals Celtic in the final game of the first phase of the Scottish Premiership, will want to improve on the performance they displayed against St Johnstone at the weekend.
However, it appears as though the Light Blues could be without a couple of key players for the visit of the Edinburgh outfit on Wednesday.
Gerrard has revealed in his press conference, via the club’s official Twitter account, that Borna Barisic will definitely miss the home game, whilst stating that decisions will need to be made on a couple of bodies.
SG: Borna won’t be available for tomorrow after picking up a hamstring, Ryan Jack we will need to make a decision on. Kent is moving along well but we will wait to make a decision.

Both Ryan Kent and Ryan Jack will need to be assessed before the game with Rangers leaving it as late as possible to make a decision on whether the pair feature.
Rangers will want to be at their very best when they play against Hibs and look to keep the pressure on Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership table before playing them at the weekend.
Barisic’s latest setback will come as a blow to Gerrard’s side, although the news that Jack and Kent could be available may lighten it slightly.
With the number of injuries that the Light Blues have already, the Glaswegians will be hopeful that they do not suffer anymore ahead of the Ibrox encounter with the Hoops.
