Rangers will return to Scottish Premiership action on Saturday when they host St. Mirren at Ibrox.
Steven Gerrard’s side managed to overcome a potential banana skin in midweek when they book their place in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup after defeating Cowdenbeath.
The Light Blues will now turn their focus to the league as they look to reduce the gap between them and Celtic at the top of the division – with their Old Firm rivals playing on Sunday.
St Mirren could give Rangers the perfect opportunity to do so as they currently sit rock-bottom of the Scottish Premiership, however, Gerrard will be without two of his summer signings.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, via the club’s official Twitter handle, the manager revealed both Connor Goldson and Eros Grezda would be unavailable.
SG: Connor Goldson is not ready for tomorrow. Eros Grezda is back running now so is not too far away.

Both have been struggling with injuries and the game against St. Mirren appears to have come too quickly for them.
Rangers will be disappointed not to be able to call upon either Goldson or Grezda for the game against St. Mirren.
The defender has been a mainstay in the team since his arrival, whilst the Albania international has struggled with injury problems since joining the Ibrox outfit.
The Light Blues have managed to get by without them so far and will be looking to make sure they get past the test of St. Mirren without any issues.
