Rangers will look to build on back-to-back 5-0 wins when they host Dundee at Ibrox on Wednesday night.
The Light Blues may see it as an ideal opportunity to reduce the eight-point gap at the top of the Scottish Premiership table following the news that Brendan Rodgers is set to leave Celtic to become Leicester City’s new manager.
However, despite Dundee’s struggles this season, Steven Gerrard will want his side to remain at their best and not become complacent against their relegation-threatened opponents.
And, it appears he could have some encouraging news ahead of the game regarding one of his star players.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, via the club’s official Twitter account, Gerrard revealed that Alfredo Morelos would be available for the game.
SG: Alfredo is available tomorrow, Halliday and Polster are both doubts, I had hoped to include Polster tomorrow.

The Colombia international missed the game against Hamilton Academical at the weekend through suspension but is poised to make his return to the side.
Gerrard also revealed that Matt Polster and Andy Halliday were doubts for the game, admitting that he had hoped to use the American in the match against Dundee.
Although Rangers managed to brush Hamilton and Kilmarnock aside in their last two matches, Morelos’ return will be welcomed by those at Rangers.
The 22-year-old is in fine form for the Light Blues this season, having hit 15 goals in his 23 Scottish Premiership matches so far as he leads the goalscoring charts.
Polster’s doubtfulness will surely come as a frustration to Gerrard as he admitted that it could have been the ideal opportunity to give him a taste of football in Scotland.
