Steven Gerrard will want to see his Rangers side bounce back from a disappointing result at the weekend when they host Kilmarnock at Ibrox in their Scottish Cup Fifth Round Replay on Wednesday night.
The Light Blues lost further ground on Celtic in the Scottish Premiership when they were held to a goalless draw against St Johnstone and will now be further keen to win this Cup competition.
Gerrard will know a win will put his side into the quarter-finals, where they will meet Aberdeen at Pittodrie should they be able to overcome Kilmarnock.
And, he has revealed that his side has been handed a huge boost to their chances via the club’s official Twitter handle.
SG: Alfredo is obviously available, Arfield will train this morning and we hope he will make it. Ryan Jack is still a doubt.

Alfredo Morelos is back available after he completed the suspension he had following his sending off against Aberdeen when the two sides met at the beginning of the month.
Scott Arfield has also returned to training, although he and Ryan Jack are likely to face late fitness tests ahead of the Kilmarnock encounter.
Rangers have failed to score in their last two matches, which coincided with Morelos’ ban, meaning the Colombia international’s return is a huge boost.
The forward is vital to how the Light Blues play and has been a key figure at Ibrox since his arrival to the Glasgow outfit and his figures of 15 goals in 23 Scottish Premiership games this season appears to back those claims up.
Arfield’s return to training will also have been a boost to the side, whilst Jack could also feature, giving Gerrard’s side a great chance of remaining in the Scottish Cup competition.
