Rangers will host Spartak Moscow at Ibrox on Thursday night as they look to continue their impressive form in the Europa League.
The Light Blues are currently unbeaten in their group, having beaten Rapid Wien and earning a draw in Spain against Villarreal.
Steven Gerrard’s side may not have a better time to face Spartak Moscow, as they are currently without a manager, and will be looking for his team to take full advantage.
Ryan Jack is in contention after returning from injury, whilst Borna Barisic is also expected to be able to feature for Rangers on the night, provided he passes a late fitness test.
Kyle Lafferty is also available to make a return to the side after having been suspended by FIFA for the game against Hamilton Academical at the weekend.
Scott Arfield remains out after he picked up an injury whilst on international duty for Canada, but could be ready to return for their weekend game against Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup semi-final.
Rangers will be looking to replicate their last European tie that was played at Ibrox, which was the 3-1 victory against Rapid Wien.
Gerrard and the Light Blues will have been delighted with the timely boost as it will certainly help give them a chance to further solidify their place at the top of the group and give them a great chance of qualifying for the next stage of the tournament.
Arfield’s absence will be a blow, however, Jack could fill in for him, whilst either Lassana Coulibaly or Jordan Rossiter will likely remain in the fold.
