Rangers are back in the Scottish Premier League after gaining promotion three times in the space of four years.
Now under Mark Warburton’s guidance, they are gearing to take the top flight by storm and they have been busy already this summer.
With the arrival of two central midfielders in Jordan Rossiter arriving from boyhood club Liverpool and the heavily experienced Joey Barton from Burnley, the former Brentford chief has added a dynamism to his engine room.
The Geers have also brought in former Queens Park Rangers pair Niko Kranjcar and Clint Hill, who will bring both class and even more experience to Ibrox.
Rangers have also been linked with former Newcastle defender Steven Taylor as Warburton is keen to strengthen all areas of his side.
Now our writer George Boulton in the Transfer Tavern has worked out who will be played where, should Warburton choose to play a 4-2-3-1.
